The Hopewell Area Recreation & Parks 17-Acre Facility
The Hopewell Area Recreation and Parks 17-acre facility, also known as the Stewartstown Community Fairgrounds, is located in Stewarstown Borough at 16 College Avenue, Stewartstown, PA 17363. It is funded by Hopewell Township, East Hopewell Township, Stewartstown Borough, and Crossroads Borough. It is governed by appointed citizen representatives from each of these municipalities, who serve on the Recreation Board. The Board’s main priority is to meet the recreation needs of the community within the constraints of available resources. HARP welcomes public attendance at its monthly planning meetings held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the Community Building located on this property.

Hopewell Area Recreation Complex
The Hopewell Area Recreation Complex is located at 4295 Plank Road, Stewartstown, PA 17363. This facility is owned by the York County Solid Waste Authority and administered by Hopewell Township. This complex includes a baseball/softball field, two multipurpose fields, walking trails, a pavilion, a youth playground and a tot lot. It also offers a great opportunity for bird watchers since it is a planned wildlife habitat implemented in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
