Ordinance Notice

NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Hopewell Township at their regularly
scheduled public meeting on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Township Office at
3336 Bridgeview Road, Stewartstown, Pennsylvania 17363, will consider for adoption

“AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF HOPEWELL, YORK COUNTY,
PENNSYLVANIA AMENDING THE COMPENSATION OF TOWNSHIP
SUPERVISORS AS PER THE REVISED SECOND CLASS TOWNSHIP CODE.”

Section 1 of the Ordinance increases the annual compensation of an elected township supervisor to
$4,190. Section 2 states that compensation will be paid in quarterly installments. Section 3 is a
repealer clause. Section 4 is a severability clause. Section 5 provides for the effective date to be
immediately after enactment. Copies of the ordinance are available at this newspaper, the York
County Self- Help Center, or the Township Office.
