RESOLUTION 6-2020 IMMEDIATELY RE-OPEN HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP
At a recent public meeting of the Hopewell Township Board of Supervisors, the Supervisors adopted Resolution 6-2020, setting forth the reasons that businesses in the Township can and should be allowed to immediately re-open.
The Township has an extremely low incidence of COVID-19 infection, but the Township remains in the Governor’s “Red Phase.” This Red Phase designation of the Township is exacting a heavy toll on residents, taxpayers and the Township through lost wages, lost revenue and lost taxes. Each day the Red Phase designation continues, the toll on these residents, taxpayers and the Township exponentially increases.
The Board of Supervisors, therefore, believes York County and Hopewell Township are ready to re-open and should re-open immediately.Resolution NO. 6-2020
