RECREATION LAND PLANNING SURVEY
Hopewell Area Recreation & Parks Board is developing a Master Plan for Stewartstown Fairgrounds Park and would like your participation.
What are your ideas and concerns about Stewartstown Fairground Park? How can Stewartstown Fairgrounds Park better serve the community?
Stewartstown Fairgrounds Park has long served the residents of the Borough and surrounding municipalities with sports fields, trails for exercise and fitness, a playground, and picnic pavilions. It hosts the annual 4th of July Fireworks, Fall Festival, and Easter Egg Hunt. In 2022 Hopewell Township purchased an additional 13 acres of land adjoining the park to the south. This additional acreage creates an opportunity to expand the recreation offerings at the park. The master plan will explore improvements and opportunities to enhance the expanded park to meet the recreation needs and interests of residents.
