Invitation to Bid – Stone and Asphalt
LEGAL NOTICE
INVITATION TO BID
The Hopewell Township Board of Supervisors will receive sealed bids until 9:00 A.M on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the Hopewell Township Municipal Building, 3336 Bridgeview Road, Stewartstown PA 17363 for the following:
- Stone, of various sizes, Four Thousand Six Hundred (4,600) tons, more or less.
- Blacktop materials, various types, Eight Thousand One Hundred (8,100) tons, more or less.
The sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the Hopewell Township Municipal Building. The bid results will be voted on by the Board of Supervisors during their regular scheduled meeting to be held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 7:00 P.M., at the same location. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond for 50% of the contract price. All bids shall be on forms obtained from the Municipal Office during normal business hours- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., or by phoning 717-993-2027. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope only and shall be clearly marked on the outside as to product being bid. Hopewell Township reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
