NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND

INTENT TO ADOPT ORDINANCE

NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Hopewell Township at their regularly scheduled public meeting on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Township Office at 3336 Bridgeview Road, Stewartstown, Pennsylvania 17363, will hold a public hearing and shall consider for adoption an ordinance titled “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP, YORK COUNTY ZONING MAP BY REZONING CERTAIN PARCELS FROM THE RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO THE INDUSTRIAL ZONE.” Section 1 of the Ordinance amends the Hopewell Township Zoning Map to change the zoning from Residential to Industrial two properties, UPI #32-000-01-0028.00-00000 and UPI #32-000-01-0029.00-00000, located on Mount Airy Road, Hopewell Township. Section 2 repeals all inconsistent ordinances. Section 3 maintains the validity of the ordinance if any section is stricken by a court. Section 4 makes the ordinance effective five days after enactment. Copies of the ordinance are available at the Township Office.
