Codes Enforcement Office

Permits are required for the following: 

Sheds (this includes prefab sheds, delivered & set-up as well as stick built).

Swimming pools - both in ground and above ground styles - fence may also be required.

Additions of any kind which you would like to add to your residence.  This includes finishing off a basement.

Also, decks,  garages, fences, home occupations and signs require a permit.

You do not need a permit to hold a yard sale.  

The Codes Enforcement Office is located at 48 Church Street, Stewartstown PA 17363.  The officers are E. Michael Lee (owner) and Herb Daugherty. Office hours are:  Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 to 11:30 AM.
